Welcome to The Third Estate.
Around a month ago I got in contact with a few people who I knew to be good writers and good thinkers. Numerous emails and several cups of coffee later we agreed to found The Third Estate.
We aim to offer progressive, irreverent and atypical commentary on current events.
We hope that you will come and read our musings and argue with us and each other.

Thanks ALL for great articles, not all of which I have commented on individually. I have found them “eye-opening” and really enjoyable. Congratulations on the launch and Good Luck. It’s great to hear the geniune “unmassaged” (for marks at Uni or pay) political opinions of the young who we need to take over from those who thankfully will be dying out shortly: “A new (scientific) truth does not triumph by convincing its opponents, but rather because its opponents die, and a new generation grows up that is familiar with it”. Max Planck.
