leftofcentreWell the results have come in. And in the very loosely defined left of centre category (see Tom Harris at number 1) we have come in at number 14, just below A Very Public Sociologist and Dave’s Part at 12 and 13 respectively, and above many excellent, popular and well established blogs.

Needless to say I am elated. As you may know, we only started this year and had been going only 6 months when the votes were cast. 1500 people voted.

Congrats for crashing straight into the top 20. But how could you have been 15th last year when you only started in February this year. Has the volatility of the quantum foam projected your influence back into the past?

We’re like the Ministry of Truth, re-writing the past to suit our future. A better future for all mankind. Thank you, thank you, this glorious day belongs to you!

Well done.

Of course you know that next year you’ll be the old guard and having to contend with loads of new upstarts jumping the queue… not that you’re upstarts :)

Sorry, I was too busy laughing at Alastair Campbell being “centre-left” to read the rest of the list… Seriously though, congratulations.

CONGRATULATIONS ALL. Fantastic achievement. From the very beginning there have been some intriguing and provocative ideas in some beautifully written pieces.
More importantly, guys, the stuff comes from your heart – sadly devoid in capital P politics. Keep up the good work.
