We&#039;re just myopic. We see Gordon Brown and we don&#039;t like him because, frankly, he&#039;s not very likeable compared to Blair or Cameron or Boris. He&#039;s a terrible politician.

The fact that he may well have salvaged the world financial system is just too big for us to notice. We&#039;re all currently enjoying the benefits of the fact that we do still have a world financial system, so, we&#039;ve taken that for granted.

We have forgotten (or in most cases never realized) how close to absolute disaster we came.</description>
