In what I hope to be the final update on the case of Dana Ali, which I began reporting on in August, Dana has won his campaign and has finally been given leave to remain in the UK. He has a job lined up and I’m sure he is keen to start working and building a family with his wife Taina. Thanks once more go to all the blogs and sites that carried the story, Left Outside, Liberal Conspiracy, Pickled Politics, Renegade Eye, Socialist Unity and Maryam Namazie, and thanks to Graham Elliott and to Mark Bee on Waveney District Council for picking up the gauntlet we threw down. One little victory can make it all worthwhile. Because campaigning does make a difference to people’s lives.
