Has anyone else ever noticed the contradiction on the Barcelona FC kit?
I lol’d, but the realities of living within a capitalist system mean that I still love Barca.
Also, Barca are giving Unicef free advertising space on their shirts for 5 years, while also donating €1.5mil per year (according to wikipedia). So we can’t really criticise too much.
Joseph: ‘…we can’t really criticise too much.’ Yes we can. They take money from companies that used forced labour (see http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9Qzm7MCusGM&fmt=18 and http://www.independent.co.uk/news/world/americas/nike-admits-to-mistakes-over-child-labour-631975.html) then give a bit to Unicef to mitigate the effects on children whose lives have been destroyed by child labour. ‘Contradiction’ is a rather polite way of describing it.
