Welcoming Jon, our new writer

Alert readers of the blog will have noticed, last week we took on a new regular writer.

At 19 Jon. is our youngest blogger. He is also one of the best read 19 year olds I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. He has guest blogged for us before on political economy and the “new atheists”. And last week wrote his first post as  full time  Third Estate, wherein he spoke up for proactive efforts to desegregate Oldham.

His interests include studying history, standards in political and cultural life and trying to speak French. He also loves classical music, particularly the work of Glenn Gould. At nineteen years of age, he is the Third Estate’s youngest contributor, and can therefore be forgiven for his poorly expressed adolescent opinion.
